Foothills Male Chorus Presents:  On With The Show! A musical trip through over 100 years of song in broadway and film productions.
From HMS Pinafore (1878) to Jersey Boys (2005), musicals have been irresistible drawing cards of stage and screen.  In its 2013 spring concert series, the Foothills Male Chorus, along with the Pilgrims Octet and the Pathfinder and Blue Diamond quartets will take you on a musical journey that spans 135 years.  Along the way you will hear music from such great productions as the Wizard of Oz, Showboat,  Porgy and Bess, Oklahoma, the Pyjama Game, My Fair Lady, the Pink Panther, the Blues Brothers and more.  The production includes songs that won many Academy Awards and Tonys and that were originally brought to life by such notable singers and actors as Paul Robson, Judy Garland,  Groucho Marx, Frank Sinatra, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and Hugh Jackman (to name a few).
The show will be presented in chronological order, and with context provided by Emcee Joan Udell.  Members of the chorus, under the direction of Conductor Christina Oliver, are hard at work to bring this production alive.
For more information contact Bob Udell at 780-740-5477.
