Edson's Centennial celebrations may be winding down, but there is a great weekend of arts-related fun on deck. Edson is a Host Celebration Site for Arts Days this year and there are a variety of opportunities to discover, experience, and celebrate the arts in our community beginning Friday, September 30 with the second annual Arts Day Variety Show at The Red Brick.
New this year is a 9 am drum circle on Saturday, October 1st. Also new on Saturday is the Celebration of First Nations Heritage from 9:30 - 11:30 am. This Celebration includes the raising of Edson's new teepee, dance performancees by Hinton's Colors Dancing In, and drum songs by local Warrior Women: Matricia Brown, Mackenzie Brown, and Carmen Hockett.
